Dracaena

Today I discovered me in the plant
that sits on my desk.
I had pulled up a tiny pebble
to lay my head upon
And I was reading a book.
I was surprised to see such a tiny me
resting peacefully,
shaded from the fluorescent lights.
I slowly stretched and turned a page
regarding the larger me with indifference
and snacked on a piece of fruit.
